Arbitration is another form of ADR . Parties to an agreement can contractually agree that in the event of a dispute they will refer their case to arbitration rather than to court .Further the parties can choose the venue , the applicable law  and jurisdiction of the dispute, the language of the dispute resolution process , and whether they want 1 or 3 arbitrators to decide their dispute.  They can choose Institutional Rules of arbitration or they can apply an ad hoc process . Jane has been appointed by the LCIA  as  Arbitrator and accepts appointment as sole arbitrator and as part of a tribunal .
